In this episode of the Grand Princess’s drydock video diary, we get a glimpse of the hull of the new Princess Cruises ship being painted.  Next, cruise director Martyn shows us the final preparations being made in the newly-expanded Horizon Court Buffet, on deck, on the atrium stairs, and in staterooms.

I’m sure the newly-renovated Grand Princess will deliver a wonderful cruise experience for its passengers.

I wanted to share this video of the ceremony and tribute paid to Princess Cruises’ Royal Princess, one of the small ships of the Princess fleet.  The ship was officially handed over to Princess Cruises’ sister company, P&O Cruises, based in the United Kingdom.

We look forward to welcoming the new Royal Princess to the Princess Cruises fleet when the name is bestowed on a new ship currently under construction.

This post in Princess Cruises’ 50 Essential Experiences blog recounts the adventure of a non safari-dreaming cruise traveler.  Enjoy The Rhythm of the Animal Kingdom.

As Princess Cruises’ Grand Princess nears the end of its drydock time and prepares to welcome passengers aboard the newly-renovated ship, the Cruise Director gives us updates on many areas, including Crooners’ Bar, Leaves Tea Lounge & Library (where a multitude of different teas will be available for sampling soon), the Fitness Center, and many deck areas.  Enjoy!
