Celebrations International Travel - Princess Cruises Certified Experts

I have to agree with Steve Zadra and his wife that spending New Year’s Eve in Sydney (or anywhere in Australia, for that matter) is a really cool idea.  I’d like to have that experience myself!  Being amongst the first people in the world to ring in the new year….What a way to celebrate!

This post on Princess Cruises’ 50 Essential Experiences earns kudos from Celebrations International Travel for Celebrating Life Through TravelSM!

Celebrations International Travel just received this announcement from Disney Destinations:

The largest expansion in Magic Kingdom® Park history is underway, a project that will nearly double the size of Fantasyland and deliver a new home for Ariel, new ways to interact with favorite Disney princesses, an exciting new family coaster, a double dose of Dumbo and more.

Celebrations International Travel….Celebrating Life Through TravelSM

“They don’t care what you do!” my BNI (Business Network International) trainer emphasized repeatedly.  He was referring to the fact that in most cases, your profession emphatically implies what you do.  He wanted to impress upon us the fact that it’s not what you do, but the benefits you can offer people that captures their interest.

With that in mind,  you all know that travel agents help arrange travel.

Here are some things that you may not know that some travel agents do, including myself and my agency, Celebrations International Travel:

– Meetings/Events at Sea or On Location:  My agency can help you organize a meeting or event on a cruise, or at an all-inclusive resort or a hotel in the city of your choice and take care of the details!

– Group Pricing Without A Group:  Who says you always have to travel with ten of your best friends to qualify for group rates?  At Celebrations International Travel, we’ve reserved space on many popular cruise sailings that allow us to offer the savings of group rates to our clients, whether you’re traveling as a couple or bringing all your friends and family along.  With some notice, similar arrangements can be made at all-inclusive resorts or for escorted tours.

– Fundraising:  That’s right….You can help raise funds for your favorite charity or cause through your travels.  Contact us to find out more.

– Itinerary Planning:  Even if you have a good idea about where and when you want to travel, a good travel agent can provide you with good tips and advice on things to see and do (and the best days/times to do them), the best ways to get around, and good places to eat and shop.  Especially for international destinations with which you aren’t familiar, your agent may be able to give you practical advice on currency exchanges, taxi services, money-saving ideas, and general travelers’ safety.

– Special Occasions & Celebrations:  We believe in Celebrating Life Through Travel!  If you’re celebrating a special occasion on your trip, let your travel agent know so that he/she can do their best to help you celebrate!

Happy New Year!

“Celebrations travel” is a term that has been coined in reference to travel that takes place because of any type of special occasion.  That’s why at Celebrations International Travel, our motto is Celebrating Life Through Travel.   What will you celebrate in 2011?  Birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, family milestones, retirement, create your own list!

Here are just a few travel ideas to consider:

Cruise the rivers of Europe during Tulip Time or to visit the Christmas markets.

– Take an oceanliner cruise to a part of the world you’ve always wanted to visit.  If there’s an ocean, a cruise ship can take you there!

– Take in the beauty of New England’s fall foliage with a Canada/New England cruise.

– Go on a tour to a dream destination.  Want to see the capitals of Europe or the exotic splendors of Asia or South America?  A tour may be the perfect vacation choice.

– Get away from it all!  If a luxurious, relaxing retreat is what you’re looking for, consider a stay at an all-inclusive resort.  Choices are plentiful throughout the Caribbean and Mexico.

– For your annual family reunion, take a trip that offers something for everyone.  Oceanliner cruises, the Disney resorts, and all-inclusive resorts are a great choice.

Whatever you celebrate in 2011, mark the occasion with a special trip.  Celebrations International Travel‘s experienced agents can help make it happen!

We wish you a happy and prosperous 2011!

My family, like many others, writes a holiday letter updating friends and family on the year’s events.  You would think that in a whole year’s time, I’d at least have something to write about.  This time last year, I found myself literally staring blankly at the Christmas-themed stationery I had created on my computer.

I didn’t know what to say because I couldn’t think of anything noteworthy enough to be included in our holiday letter.  So I wrote a traditional, hum-drum holiday letter:

– Everyone’s doing well.

– The kids are getting older and doing well in school.

– We look forward to next year.

Suffice it to say that that letter could have been written by anyone, and that the update was nothing short of generic.  Well, I’m happy to say that experience won’t repeat itself this year!

Our agency’s tagline is “Celebrating Life Through Travel”.  In the new year, don’t just go through the motions.  Celebrate life!  You don’t have to travel far to celebrate the good things in life.  We believe it’s more about the experiences you have and the memories you create with your loved ones.

Wherever life’s travels take you, experience every day and every destination in ways that you enjoy and that are meaningful to you.  Then you’ll be sure to have something interesting and memorable to write about in your holiday letter!

We wish you safe and happy travels this holiday season and throughout the year.

Update:  I am heartbroken that Jackie Evancho didn’t win America’s Got Talent, but I hear she’s performing in the America’s Got Talent Live stage show, and it’s coming to Phoenix in October!

After her stunning performance on last night’s episode of America’s Got Talent, we cast all the votes we could for Jackie Evancho.  A child has never won America’s Got Talent before, and personally, I think it would be a shame if she didn’t, all because she’s ten years old.

Check out this outstanding video clip of Jackie’s performance:

If Jackie wins tonight, we’re taking family to see her show in Las Vegas!  (Nothing better than celebrating life by spending it with the family!)  My own little girl loves the outfits Jackie has been wearing on America’s Got Talent, so I guess it’s time to seek them out….Maybe one day Jackie Evancho will even have her own little girls’ couture line!
