I particularly like this latest episode from Princess Cruises, showing us how the Grand Princess’s  main galley (kitchen) is still fully operational during drydock, providing all meals, snacks, and beverage station service for those hard at work on the ship’s major renovations.  Life onboard a cruise ship has always intrigued me, and it’s neat to see how these construction workers and other contractors are living and working aboard the Grand Princess.

Princess Cruises‘ food and service has always been excellent, and it’s nice to see that the galley and restaurant crew members are providing the same level of service and quality food to the workers as passengers would receive.  One of my personal favorites is featured in this video, Princess Cruises‘ signature fresh pasta!

We look forward to helping you plan your next adventure aboard Princess Cruises!

Machu Picchu is definitely on our own bucket list!  Funny that Julie Benson of Princess Cruises took this trip to celebrate her wedding anniversary.  We’ve considered a visit to Machu Picchu to celebrate a milestone anniversary as well!  Julie describes her trip in a very personable, eloquent way that really makes this destination come alive.

One day we hope to ride the Hiram Bingham train (if we’re lucky) to see Machu Picchu in all its splendor.  Enjoy!

Discovering the Hidden City of the Incas

Visiting Machu Picchu on a Princess Cruise

Machu Picchu was a wonder hidden from the Western world for over 400 years.

I loved reading this contributor’s story!  Life at sea isn’t for everyone, so I especially like the way he describes the progression of his life and career….growing up on a farm in Iowa, teaching scuba diving in the Caribbean, planning tours in Europe.  Also, the pictures are spectacular.  Enjoy!
